ACORN in the News. Where you might ask? Other than Fox News, there has been very little coverage of Acorns many scandals. The mainstream media has been very silent.
It’s a crying shame that none of the so called national media, NBC,CBS,ABC or any of the major newspapers could expose any of these scandals. As I write this story this organization (ACORN) is under investigation for numerous lawless activities all over this land.- Yesterday the U.S. Senate voted to cut off funds for Acorn. An amendment was introduced to remove all federal funding for ACORN from the HUD and Transportation appropriation bill. The vote was very interesting. The Senate passed it 83-7. Very bipartisan. The nay votes are as follows:
- Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL)
- Senator Roland Burris (D-IL)
- Senator Robert Casey (D-PA)
- Senator Gillibrand (D-NY)
- Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT)
- Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT)
- Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI)
- These 7 Senators nay votes can only lead one to believe that they condone this organizations (ACORN) corruption and deceit.
- The Census Bureau terminated relations with Acorn and has stated that over the last little while communication with regional offices has made it clear that Acorn’s affiliation with the 2010 census has caused great concern in the general public. The Census Bureau was worried that Acorn’s continued association with the 2010 census would create less cooperation from the population causing an inaccurate count.
- Video has come out that shows Acorn employees giving advice on how a prostitute could set up a brothel, committing tax fraud.
- Today the fourth video came out! If what is on this video is TRUE, WHERE oh WHERE does this all lead? What kind of ties does it have with our leaders? Who are the people at the top that protect ACORN? We need answers for these and other questions !
